Happy Monday + My Teeny-Tiny Tooth Fairy Doll®

Hello people! It feels like I’ve been away for so long. My last Facebook post was on Friday when I re-arranged my work station and moved the computer from one desk to another.

.

Well I’ve sorted that but now working on the other mess that I moved around from room to room LOL! Amazing how tidy and organised you get when an apartment inspection is due 🙂

So nothing much has been happening in front of the scene, but behind I’ve been busy with a few other things and just in the last day, I’ve given myself a little personal project – I’ll let you know soon how that goes.

I’ve been busy making custom requests, so remember, if you see a My Teeny-Tiny Doll® you like and want it customised, let me know and I can see what I can do for you. As the days get closer to Christmas, lead in time for sewing custom is getting smaller so don’t leave it too late.

On Friday, my youngest (6 y.o.) lost his first tooth in the morning and then lost the second tooth later that afternoon.

.

The 2 had been wobbly for a while and there were already two teeth that had grown behind it – it was the same for my older boy (now 8y.o.). They like to take their time 🙂

Speaking of wobbly teeth, I had another custom request for a My Teeny-Tiny Tooth Fairy Doll®. The mum’s little girl has shown signs of a wobbly tooth and she’s chosen hair colour and style like her little one as well as the skin tone.

.

Ain’t she pretty!

That’s all from me for today, so wishing you a very happy Monday.

Ultie the Deer

Josh’s school is holding a fundraising trivia night along with a silent auction next Friday and I was asked if I wanted to donate one of my creations.

So here is my contribution … “Ultie” the Deer

.

I have named him Ultie from Ultimo, part of the City of Sydney, where back in 1804, the surrounding land was manicured to resemble an English estate, complete with deer imported from India.

Here are some earlier pics prior to final additional features. Made using a pattern by Shtuchka

.

Hope he gets lots of good bids 🙂

CYSN Australia Day Product Release

Thought I’d make a couple of Australia Day themed My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® and make them available tomorrow Thursday 16th January 8pm (AEST) from my bigcartel store (I’ll pop up a countdown timer in the listings later on today).

The first one is My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Jimmy, the cricketer.

I updated his green baggy cap by putting the Australian coat of arms to make it a bit more authentic.

MTTD Green Baggy Cap.

Next, I made a girl My Teeny-Tiny Doll®

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Mindy.

Now as you can see, I have named her Mindy. I wasn’t going to name her and just title her the Australia Day MTTD, and there were a few iconic Australian names suggested on Facebook, like Matilda, Shazza, Sheila or  Kylie. I let it brew in my head for a bit, but they didn’t suit her and so I thought Mindy was a cute little girl’s name.

Underneath her Australian flagged MTTD Tennis Dress, she is wearing a cute green and gold floral swimmers, ready for the hot Australia Day celebrations.

I will also have some MTTD Australia Day Tennis Dresses available on their own for tomorrow’s product release.

I’ll do listings later today and will try  to make one more MTTD Clothing, but I’ll see how I go today with the boys.

Have a great day all!

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Jimmy

I thought I’d be creating a bit more throughout January, but as the break is coming along, and before the start of the school year, I am taking advantage of time with my boys and just taking it easy.

However, I did want to make a My Teeny-Tiny Cricket Doll® for Australia Day (celebrated on January 26), so, introducing My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Jimmy

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Jimmy.

He comes with a “baggy” green cap and a handmade cricket bat. His shoes are handpainted with non-toxic acrylic paint and he will be available by Wednesday 15th January – time TBA and all are details available soon.

Here were some WIP pictures taken along the way on my instagram.

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Max

The final My Teeny-Tiny Doll® for tomorrow morning’s product release is My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Max

They are already made and ready to ship on Wednesday 8th January. The product release is open to all with a LIMIT of ONE My Teeny-Tiny Doll® per buyer, on a first in, first serve basis. Good luck!

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Ruby

Hellooooo! It’s great to be back from our long weekend away (will blog some holiday pics later). No sewing, no art or craft was done – although I did bring my markers to do some colouring in, but it was not taken out of the bag (I guess which is a good thing, as the holiday was a REAL break)

But now I’m back and eager to get back into the swing of things. When we arrived, I did say hello to my bed and my lovely fluffy pillows and hugged them tight and napped for a few hours. Now, the boys are making pizza and I’m here to show you My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Ruby.

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Ruby.

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Ruby made her debut back in September 2011, then again in March and April of 2012. She will be available Tuesday 7th January (time TBA) along with My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® Pippa, Nikita, Lulubelle & Stuart

So, for now I bid you a “chat-to-you-later”, will have my homemade pizza, have a bit of a swim in the pool later and get myself organised for the first product release of the New Year. Ciao!

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Pippa

Hey, hey! How did everyone’s Christmas and Festive Celebrations go? Did you get what you wished for? If you have pictures of your gifted My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® send it over. Let me know whether you allow me to share it on my page or not, either way, would love to see xxx

Here’s another new My Teeny-Tiny Doll® up for grabs in the next product release (by 12th January 2014). My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Pippa first popped up on the CYSN pages back in October 2012 and when I was cleaning up recently, I found a small scrap of her dress fabric and thought a cinnamon haired MTTD would be perfect and who better than cute MTTD Pippa.

Now I’ll be busy with non-CYSN stuff over the weekend for my youngest’s 5th birthday, then there’s New Year’s (nothing major planned). But then for the following weekend, we want to have a little family getaway for my birthday (a long weekend at Katoomba and do all the touristy stuff) and just enjoy it with the boys before the New Year’s “work” begins again.

In the meantime, still having a great time drawing and colouring in and finding my own technique with my Copic Markers – I showed on my Facebook page my marker set and the wallet to case them (a gift from my sister-in-law and family) and the new drawing of My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Ashley in his green dino hat.

But today, on the agenda is more cleaning – I want to girly-fy the one of the toilet/shower room, so then it doesn’t feel like I’m living out of my toiletry and make-up bag and then sort through my wardrobe and get rid of items I no longer wear or shouldn’t wear LOL!

.So have fun my dears and chat again soon!
