MICRO My Teeny-Tiny Doll® and Duke, the Jack Russell

Well, I was gonna update my Facebook cover pic, but Facebook is down at the moment, so I thought I’d share these two teeny-tinies I’ve just finished.

I’ll make them available later in the week. So, funny how I feel a bit lost without Facebook. How about you?

Zachy’s Bird

I use a utensil holder for my scissors and there is a little bird on top of it.

He’s loving birds at the moment and “tweet, tweets” everytime he sees one. Problem is, he tries to climb my cutting table to touch the little bird on top of the scissors holder.

So I thought, I’d better make him one. I bought a felt bird plush pattern from typing with tea and quickly made one for Zachy.

I think he loves it!

Have a great day all!

Some Teeny-Tiny Friends

As part of my cleaning frenzy this week, I found a cute, unfinished teeny-tiny sleepy sheep. So, I finished making her ears, eyes and her teeny-tiny pillow.

black sheep.

I’ll make her available in my bigcartel store Thursday 24th January 8pm (AEST) – more info tomorrow – along with a cute MTTD Panda Baby.

Family Fun

It’s been lovely just taking it easy and enjoying time with my boys 🙂

Playing drums with empty boxes and toy pots and pans

Made some felt strawberries for our farmers’ market

Educational fun with magnetic alphabets and numbers and a baking tray.

And to top it off, Josh got a Certificate of Merit at school assembly for “his beautiful manners and kindness to all”

Hope you are all having a great weekend as we are here enjoying some much needed time off at CYSN

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Selina

Some of you may have already seen the My Teeny-Tiny Doll® that was inspired by my wait at the doctor’s office the other day – post found here. As I flicked the pages of the same Madison Magazine, I was engaged by the colour blocking of this Hermes dress.

Photo courtesy of Madison Magazine March 2013 “The Fashion Issue”

So late last night, I started making a My Teeny-Tiny Doll® (MTTD) inspired by this colour blocking. Now I’m the first to admit I am hopeless when it comes to colour combos. I’m normally your straight forward primary colours kind of girl and sometimes still stuck in the “old” school of thinking when it comes to colours … like “blue and green should never be seen”

But I’m getting better with colour and pattern combos both in my teeny-tiny creations as well as my own fashion sense. Anyhoo … there was a particular MTTD that I wanted to try this new project on and that is MTTD Selina. Here she is last year in one of her fashion shoots.selina 1

And here she is in a Hermes inspired babydoll dress.selina a

She needed something extra, so I made her a cute round rimmed purple eyeglasses.selina d

But still, I needed another accessory for her and who better than cute teeny-tiny Sandy the Jack Russell pupsandy 2sandy 3

These 2 are becoming firm friends, so I will make them available as a set, but will leave it until after the Easter break – going to enjoy them a wee bit longer myself 😉selina fselina e

“What’s Coming Up” Wednesday

Okay, I think I’m back in the My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® swing of things. Took a teeny-tiny break over the weekend making these Bunny Baby Slippersslippers 1

Also made an accompanying Bunny Shoe Shuffle video that can be found in my YouTube Channel.

I do still have 2 pairs left: a yellow and white polka dot in size 3-6  months and a green and white polka dots in 9-12 months. They are $28.00 a pair + shipping, so if you’re interested, just e-mail me at cookyousomenoodles@gmail.com

With Easter coming up and having 2 cute MTTD Bunny Babies already made previously, I thought I’d make MTTD besties for them – one My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Aliali and bunny baby

And the other My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Charliecharlie and Bunny

MTTD Bunny Babies made using a Gingermelon pattern.

I also will have the My Teeny-Tiny “Fruit Tingles” Collection Dolls® back again.news dolls 5

I’ll be adding more items along the way if I can manage to make other things.

The beginning of this week has been emotionally draining with just different stuff going on, so have been keeping myself busy. During a teeny-tiny break today, I made an Apple Pincushion that’s part of Joe Joe and the Teddy Bear‘s Facebook Pincushion Showcase also on Sunday night 9pm (AEST) – click on my photo below to direct you to my contribution:

Here’s My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Hayley trying to take a bite of the Apple Pincushionhayley and pin

To get updates on what else will be coming up, you can follow me on Facebook or visit back in my bigcartel store as I update it with more product info.

SALES CONDITION will apply to the bigcartel’s Sunday night product release. The My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® will be available to those whose last 11″ MTTD purchase was BEFORE 17th February.

So that’s my week so far and I still have to make something for Josh’s school friend for his birthday party on Sunday – so no pressure, hey 🙂

“What’s Coming Up” Wednesday

… Sshhhhh, let’s pretend it’s still Wednesday. Today caught up with me way too quickly. I help out at Josh’s school on Wednesday afternoons, and then he was having too much fun with one of his school mates playing ghosts after school, so I couldn’t really take him away from that now, could I? It’s like “enjoying London” … background story can be found here.

But I am happy to say I’m ahead of schedule with my Made to Orders and will be posting those later “today”.

Now on with what this post is all about, “What’s Coming Up”. Okay, as per my recent Facebook posts, I will have the My Teeny-Tiny Mermaid Dolls® available on Sunday 10th March at 8pm (AEST) – countdown timer here

SALE CONDITION APPLIES: The 11″ My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® will be available to those whose last purchase was BEFORE  10th February!

On Tuesday night, I took a break from sewing MTTDs and sewed something else. I first showed these today and based on the response, it seems like it’s a hit so I’ll try to make some more by Sunday aswell (giving myself a lot to do, much?!). MTTD Palm Baby Rattles and Apple and Strawberry Bibs.

I’ll tally up the verdict of a question posted on my Facebook page, but so far them apples are winning.

So, I’ve got a day or so up my sleeve until Sunday night’s bigcartel product release, and me aims to get as much done as I can for you.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your kinds words with the stuff that I do, I really do appreciate it a LOT!

My Teeny-Tiny Dolls® Dorothy and Boo Virgin-MTTD Ballot

*** BALLOT NOW CLOSED! No more entries please ***

Hey, hey. Let’s do a ballot for those who are yet to get their hands on a My Teeny-Tiny Doll®. Sound good?

So, if you have never purchased a 10″/11″ My Teeny-Tiny Doll® you are eligible to enter – this includes the MY FIRST (no rice) MTTDs. So even though you have bought one and gave it to a friend, you won’t be eligible (only because that’s the only way I can track the purchase).

This ballot will only be open until 8pm (AEST – Sydney time) tonight. You will be playing for a chance to purchase either MTTD Dorothy or MTTD Boo.

One entry per person. Comment must include “SOLD” in it to be valid. Note down in order of preference which you would like to purchase if your name gets picked. If you only want to purchase one or the other, only put down one name. The MTTDs will be made to order, with up to 10 working days for dolls to be made before shipping. Payment must be made within 24 hours via PayPal or Direct Deposit. Sorry, no holds.

Shipping Australia wide is $11 (registered post with tracking and signature upon delivery). International deliveries are via regular airmail and approx $12 (exact cost will be calculated once destination country is determined).

At 8pm (AEST) I will comment “CLOSED” and any comments made after it will not be entered in the draw. I will then draw out 2 names and announce the winners at 10pm (AEST) later tonight. Winners will have 24 hours to contact me to go ahead with the purchase.

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Dorothy

My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Boo

All comments will need to be approved prior to publishing, so if you don’t see your comment right away, just wait a bit until I get back to my computer to approve.

Good luck Virgin-MTTDs!
