Remember the #ShowYourStripes socks I posted on my Facebook page
.
And on my Instagram page
The story behind it was, a lady at work for her farewell had these socks available to help raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Randwick hashtags #25for25 #ShowYourStripes #forRMHR. I got extra ones, and thought that I would make a My Teeny-Tiny Doll® or two and auction them to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Randwick (RMHR).
I did make one last weekend and she said a quick hello!
.
I was just waiting for RMHR’s fundraising approval and I received it today – thanks Jaclyn if you’re reading this 🙂 So now I can reveal her properly.
Introducing My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Macey
.
Her cute teeny-tiny beanie is made from the toe part of the red and white striped socks. I also made her in the Ronald McDonald classic colours of red, yellow and white.
I will be auctioning her off in my eBay store and donating 100% of the winning bid to Ronald McDonald House Randwick
“Since opening in 1991, Ronald McDonald House Randwick has provided a ‘home away from home’ for 32 families a night, every night. We also provide all the facilities that you would have at home, so you can travel light.
… the house provides more than just the practical necessities of life. When families have to travel far from home to receive medical care for their sick child, finding affordable accommodation in an unfamiliar city only adds to their stress and anxiety. So when families’ lives have been turned upside down, we offer a warm, welcoming place to stay that is supportive and understanding. We try to offer a little bit of ‘normal’ when life is disrupted, painful, and confusing.
The role of our caring staff and volunteers is to ‘lighten the families’ load’ and to ensure that they are offered the help and support they need to be able to focus on what really matters – their family.”
So mine, and My Teeny-Tiny Doll® Macey’s hat goes off to RMHR and all their wonderful dedicated volunteers.
.
She is available now to bid on in my eBay store – click here for the listing. She will be up for 5 days and will be posted 1 business day after the winning bidder pays via PayPal.
Once the PayPal payment comes through I will be donating 100% of proceed to the Ronald McDonald House Randwick.

Do you sell a pattern for you little darling dolls? I missed out on the one on ebay bc the bidding had ended and it said unsold. It was $50. Do you have any others for sale? Thank you
Hi Polly. I don’t sell the patterns to my dolls as they are the core of my business. I did make another one and she’s available here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Handmade-Doll-11-My-Teeny-Tiny-Doll-Macey-Small-Fabric-Cloth-Rag-Doll-/131775933481 🙂 ~ Mariane xxx
