The Week So Far in Pictures

In no particular order, here are some of the other things I made in the last week.

A “new arrival” package for our friends in Brazil who had a little baby boy. A Little Lamb pillow, appliqued tie onesie and striped brimmed beanie.

I tested a new shoulder bag pattern (no. 191) for ithinksew.com which is coming out soon. This one is in a corduroy pattern fabric from Lincraft my mum bought for herself which she wanted me to make into a big bag, so this is hers. Turned out great actually – so hopefully ithinksew.com uses the pictures of my finished bag in their shop.

I bought some new hardware  – Silver Tie Tacks with Clutch and Silver Adjustable Rings with Flat Top Disc from etsy’s Start to Finish.

With the tie tacks I made Sets of 3 Rosettes Tie Tack Pins – great for both men and women.

And with the adjustable rings, I made a rolled fabric rosette for myself and will soon make a few for my etsy store.

The baby mannequin I made earlier in the week has been put to good use – it showcases my baby wear really well.

Next, I really wanted to design my own envelope clutch and tried a few in the past but just never turned out the way I wanted. Last week I bought a couple of sheets of plastic canvas and used them for this envelope clutch to make it sturdy and durable.

As for my 3 boys:

Josh doing some preschool activities – colouring in, matching activity and joining the dot.

Josh also wanted me to make him another Little Cap but with a green star on it – green is his favourite colour it seems.

Josh not too keen to having his photo taken while he’s painting.

My oldest “boy” and youngest boy after their nap:

Overall, had a very good week – very tired as I didn’t go to bed until around 3am most days.

Had a great day today – beautiful sunny day in the morning, thunder and rain in the afternoon. Just waiting for our pizza now while watching Zach eat his baked beans and hubby and Josh setting up the train tracks.

Hope everyone else is having a fabulous weekend.
