Yoke Skirt for Me

I made a second style skirt, pattern again from Craftsy, this time the “201 – Yasmin Yoke Skirt” by Maria Denmark

I’m not normally a floral print kind-a-girl, but I had this fabric in my stash that I got given a while back, so I thought it’d be perfect for Spring.

I couldn’t find my interfacing, so I omitted it from the band of the skirt, plus I was too impatient to wait as I wanted to finish it last night so I could try it on.

I chose the shorter version and here’s how it turned out.

It has a slight flare to it without giving too much volume at the hips, so great with flat shoes for a more casual wear or a bit of chunky heels and accessories for a dressier look.

The next style on the agenda is a wrap skirt, so just need to find a nice fabric for that to cut in to.
